The historic water castle opens its gates to a world of past centuries and takes visitors back to the time of knights, squires, and noble ladies. With the legendary knightly tournaments, guests can expect spectacular competitions, a colorful medieval market, and an authentic knight camp – an experience for the whole family.

The highlight of the medieval festivities on the impressive grounds with its expansive castle park is the new show by the Knight of Burg Satzvey: Varyngard – Flight of the Falcon. Presented with breathtaking riding skills, stunning stunts, and refined fight choreography, the gripping story of an ancient kingdom seems doomed to destruction. Captivating emotions and history are staged with modern show elements.

Medieval Market, Jugglers, Minstrels, and Knight Camp
The large medieval market on the castle grounds, featuring numerous vendors from various ancient guilds and trades, invites strolling and discovering: Here, all kinds of goods and handcrafted treasures are offered – from artistically crafted jewelry to fine garments and traditional woodwork.

Between the market stalls, fairy tale narrators, minstrels, and jugglers invite wonder and relaxation, including Alf the Juggler as well as Spectaculatius, Forzarello , and The Will-o'-the-Wisps.

Homemade dishes, fragrant specialties, and refreshing drinks served in medieval style cater to guests' culinary needs. A special highlight is the large knight camp in the castle park, where the life of past times with all its customs and stories comes to life – an experience that delights both young and old alike.
