The Cologne Baroque ensemble CONCERT ROYAL Köln with Karla Schröter (oboe) and Willi Kronenberg (organ) presents “Music from Saxon Castle Churches” featuring works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Krebs, Homilius, Hertel, Förster, Tag, and others.
The ensemble, founded by Karla Schröter, is internationally known for its stylistically informed interpretations of 18th-century music and has received multiple awards (including ECHO KLASSIK). Numerous CD recordings – also at the König organ of the castle church in Schleiden – document the close connection to the historical organ.
Willi Kronenberg, a prizewinner of prestigious competitions and an internationally performing organist, dedicates himself intensively to playing historical instruments.
Time: 7.00-9.00 p.m.
