Growing up in the beautiful Black Forest town of Haslach, COSSU is now venturing onto LIVE stages outside of his hometown for the first time: An energetic mix of comedy, music and language that captivates the audience and showcases the diverse sounds of Germany. His successful book “WE ARE THE GERMANS” quickly made it to the Spiegel bestseller list and is thus the namesake of his first solo show. WE ARE THE GERMANS – Stand-Up Comedy COSSU has long been a part of the German comedy and entertainment scene – and for good reason: His versatility, wordplay, and sense for social issues make him unique. Alongside humorous content online, he actively speaks out against racism and xenophobia.
He has already appeared on numerous TV shows, including as a sidekick on “Darf er das?! – Die Chris Tall Show” (RTL), on “Verstehen Sie Spaß?” (DAS ERSTE), as a guest on the “NDR Talkshow” - and starting June 2025, he will be seen as an actor in the ZDF comedy series “Tschappel.” He also regularly brings laughter to “strassenstars” (HR). From 2014 to 2019, COSSU showcased his live qualities and spontaneous charm and speed in large venues in the opening act for Bülent Ceylan.
