Early summer event with the Trier band formation SAXOMANIA.
The 13 musicians present highlights from the swing and big band era by Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Gene Krupa, etc., complemented by jazzy pieces from film and television ranging from Henry Mancini to the Blues Brothers.
The eight saxophonists/clarinetists, one violin, and a four-member rhythm group provide the audience, under the direction of Gert Spies, with an exhilarating ensemble sound and virtuosic solos.
A delight for swing, jazz, and saxophone fans!
Tables and benches are ready for you. Coffee and champagne will be offered on site. Please bring your own picnic.
