His extremely suggestive music permeates the film with a depth that seemed previously unattainable.
The audience seems to be virtually sucked into the film: they experience the film from within! A journey into the unconscious that is as wonderful as it is uncanny, into the land of hidden fears and desires. "Nosferatu" (F.W. Murnau, 1922) is regarded as the first and most charismatic adaptation of Dracula.
Stephan v. Bothmer performs with his CineTronium, a keyboard setup of enormous expressiveness and flexibility that he has specifically developed for his live film music. The modern sounds of the CineTronium merge with the deep emotionality and drama of his music to create an intoxicating experience that brings the films into the present day.
