Forgotten railway line Meckesheim–Wiesloch, continuation Angelbachtalbahn

**Start/End: Meckesheim Train Station** We ride to Dielheim, partly along the former Meckesheim–Wiesloch route. From Rauenberg, we follow the route through the Angelbach Valley to Waldangelloch, which was in operation until 1980. Through the forest, past hamlets to Sinsheim (a 12-km shortcut via the S-Bahn is possible) and back through the Elsenz Valley. There are several, partly hidden remnants of the route and beautiful viewpoints to discover. The route follows mostly well-maintained forest and farm roads, largely along the old railroad line with a few gentle inclines.
