It is the beginning of the Christmas season: Marburg by Night powered by Stadtwerke Marburg. It is the Marburg light event that gives the city a very special glow.
Traditionally, on the Friday before Advent Sunday, the city is illuminated. An axis from the Elisabeth Church to the Upper Town is presented as an illuminated spectacle, and the long shopping night invites visitors to look for their first Christmas gifts in the Marburg city center. At the same time, the Marburg Christmas markets also open for the first time.
Visitors can expect fascinating sights and a festive atmosphere in the alleys.
