Patrick Nederkoorn is a comedian from Amsterdam who is now also performing regularly in Germany. What happens when, due to rising sea levels, 17 million orange climate refugees roll into Germany on the left lane with their caravans? Are the Germans then ready to welcome the beloved Dutch?
“The Orange Danger – The Dutch Are Coming” is the first German-language program of the Dutch cabaret artist Patrick Nederkoorn. The premiere took place in spring 2022 at the Haus der Springmaus in Bonn. It is an amusing and bitterly satirical exploration of the peculiarities of our two nations and the issue of migration in climate change. The program was nominated for the Prix Pantheon and won the Obernburger Mühlstein, the Comedian Jackpot, the Silver Reinheim Satire Lion, and the Second Prize of the Tuttlinger Krähe.
