Immerse yourself with Heribert, the last monk, in Oberwesel of the 16th century. After an impressive multimedia room presentation in the refectory, he will take you into his life and work in the monastery. A mystical place and setting where, besides "ora et labora" – pray and work – there is plenty of exciting, humorous, and surprising things to discover.
Accompany monk Heribert on his tour and get to know the monastery and monastic life of that time with him. Perhaps he will also share the monastery's schnapps recipe with you during this entertaining round. You can enjoy this at the end in the monastery garden illuminated by the impressive church ruins.
Duration: approx. 75 minutes. It is important to wear sturdy footwear.
The monastery grounds are not wheelchair accessible!
Meeting point is at the monastery entrance in front of the large information sign (access via Oberstraße and "Im Kloster" street).
