On our guided hike, we explore, among other things, the Squirrel Trail in Niederfischbach, which leads over a former mining railway track through small gorges to the former Fischbacherwerk mine. Along the way, we get to know the adventure trail and at the same time the GeoRoute of the local mining hiking trail more closely. Passing by the soldier's graves, we reach the so-called Dead Beech tree, a distinctive point of our hike on the 12 km round.
