Aquarena Night offers music for nearly every taste

The Aquarena Night, the popular Dillenburg city festival, is back for another round and will once again electrify the city of Orange this year!

SAVE THE DATE: On Saturday, August 22, the Dillenburg city center will once again transform into a large open-air music landscape. Sociability, a cheerful atmosphere, a lively party mood, and experiencing the city of Orange – all of this will be offered to music-loving guests on site with a wide range of good live music and culinary delights.

After the musical concept was revised some time ago, the summer festival is gaining more and more popularity. For the seventh consecutive year, tribute bands from the musical genres of Pop, Rock, Hard Rock, and Heavy Metal are in focus. The aim of a tribute band is to reproduce the musical compositions of a well-known band as faithfully as possible. The artist groups often do not limit themselves to just copying the music, but also strive to imitate their idols' appearance and sometimes deliver a perfect reproduction of the original artists' shows. Visitors to the Aquarena Night 2026 can look forward to a total of nine live bands performing on three main stages this year. Cool sounds will also create a lively atmosphere among the party guests in front of the hyped party stage in Hofgarten. To ensure that as many music-loving guests as possible find their way to the city of Orange in 2026, a promising program has been prepared for the popular summer festival.

This year's music program is very diverse and consists of national and international tribute bands, as well as artist groups with their own material. The guests of the Aquarena Night can look forward to shows by The Beatles (THE PETELES from Westerwald), Volbeat (Still Counting from Central Hesse), Metallica (SAD from Italy), Def Leppard (Bad LIZARD from the Düsseldorf area), System of a Down (Aerials from Hungary), Aerosmith (BIG ONES from Italy), Andreas Gabalier (Andreas Gabalier Double), Zum Horst (from the Siegen-Wittgenstein district), and Viper Room (from Lahnau). But the Hofgarten will also be integrated into the festivities this year and will particularly offer younger guests an attractive planet party stage. It has been agreed that a high-quality, attractive, and at the same time diverse program has been put together.

Additionally, city festival guests will be offered an excellent supporting program away from the main stages. Dillenburg's restaurateurs and merchants are also participating in the large summer celebration and providing further musical spots for lingering and meeting within the event area.

The entry fee for this year's open-air event is 8 euros. The good news – for the first time, tickets can be purchased online in advance, so the long wait times on-site at the entrances will be eliminated. The walking distances between the individual stages are kept short, and the gastronomic offerings are once again diverse as usual. Drinks are available in 0.4 l containers for just 3.50 euros each. The purchase price for a city festival cup is 1 euro. However, those who still have 0.4 l cups from previous Aquarena Nights can of course bring them to the festival again. For the fourth consecutive year, drink ticket counters will be positioned on-site at all four entrances and at additional locations throughout the event area. Here, drink tickets can be purchased, which can be exchanged for drinks at the event area. Drink tickets from the previous year will also remain valid and can be redeemed this year at the numerous drink stands on-site.

The foundations for a successful Dillenburg city festival have certainly been laid. So hopes are high in Dillenburg and the surrounding area for a lovely, mild, and above all dry summer evening on Saturday, August 22!
