Zweite „Singer-Songwriter Night“ im Kulturhaus

3 artists present handmade music and moving stories – the event is a cooperation of the Tourist Information Oberwesel, "Musicgrounder", and the Cultural Center

First "Singer-Songwriter Night" in Oberwesel at the Cultural Center! On October 10, 2025, at 7:30 PM, this new format will take place in cooperation with the Tourist Information Oberwesel, the artist agency "Musicgrounder" (Marburg), and the Cultural Center Oberwesel. Three extraordinary singer-songwriters will present their songs – honest, touching, and full of passion. The Cultural Center will transform into a stage for handmade music and moving stories.

In personal short interviews, the artists will provide insights into their musical journey, their sources of inspiration, and what drives them. The evening will be rounded off with selected wines from the region and stimulating conversations – a musically sociable delight for heart and soul.

The following artists will perform that evening:

Daniel Bongart
The Bonn singer/songwriter Daniel Bongart represents music that touches the soul. His songs tell stories of people, emotions, and secrets – with soulful singing and reduced yet intense instrumental play. In his current album "Dreaming Tree," he unfolds an emotional soundscape between folk and rock. Sometimes fragile, sometimes powerful – Bongart takes his audience on a journey full of depth and authenticity.

Chris Rock
With heart and soul, Chris Rock tells touching stories in his German and English songs. His style combines folk, rock, and classic songwriting – influenced by artists like Johnny Cash or Oasis. His music is honest, passionate, and full of emotion. On stage, Chris creates a palpable closeness to the audience with his charismatic presence, leaving lasting impressions.

Red Apple
The acoustic duo Red Apple – consisting of Sascha Frank (vocals, guitar) and Jakob Huf (guitar, mandolin) – blends roots, Americana, folk, and blues into a unique sound. With original compositions and intensely interpreted classics, they create a varied evening. Jakob impresses with virtuosic string playing, while Sascha's gravelly voice gives each song character. Two men, five guitars, and a large portion of soul bring the stage to life.

With "Musicgrounder," a professional artist agency is on board as a cooperation partner, promoting and supporting young artists and musicians on their path. They have taken over the announcement and pre-selection process for the "Singer-Songwriter Night," which attracted applications from over 50 artists.

Tickets for €15 (reduced €12) are available at the Cultural Center (Rathausstr. 23) as well as online and at all Ticket Regional sales outlets, such as the Tourist Information Oberwesel.
