THE meeting point for "Vice Friday"

In June, Dillenburg's Wilhelmsplatz will once again transform into a large open-air after-work party on three Thursdays and - exceptionally - on one Wednesday, inviting all citizens of Dillenburg and friends of good live music to a social gathering. On a total of four dates in June, there will be laughter, dancing, singing, feasting, and drinking – all in a relaxed atmosphere in the heart of Dillenburg. Together, and with lots of good cheer, the "little weekend" will be ushered in on the so-called "Vice Friday"!

Visitors to the AfterWork series can look forward to an exciting musical program.

The series kicks off on June 3 (exceptionally on a Wednesday due to Corpus Christi) with the renowned and highly sought-after cover band EVE from the local Dillkreis, who will undoubtedly captivate the audience with expertly staged popular songs. Dancing and singing along is explicitly encouraged!

On June 11, SoulMash from Dillenburg will continue the festivities. The six passionate musicians bring hits from the eighties, including those by Prince and The Police, to life on stage. The songs are deconstructed and recombined with a solid pinch of ROCK, ensuring that the well-known classics are presented in a new light for an exuberant party atmosphere.

On June 18, AfterWork guests can look forward to the singer-songwriter collective Klangversprechen from Bad Homburg, which has already delighted audiences in previous years in varying line-ups as a Dynamic Duo, including at the Dillenburg Winter Magic and AfterWork 2025. The "Klang" in "Klangversprechen" stems from the years of stage experience of the professional musicians, musical excellence, and a lot of love for detail, for music, and for unique moments created together with the listeners.

To conclude the event series on June 25, the enchanting Jördis Tielsch will grace the stage, along with Peter Schneider, who will take over the AfterWork stage at Wilhelmsplatz. Jördis Tielsch captivates with her phenomenal stage presence and her incomparable voice, taking the audience on a musical journey of well-being that one would not want to return from.

There will also be plenty of refreshments available – a delicious food offering and refreshing drinks will be on site. Additionally, the nearby gastronomy invites guests to linger and feel at home.

The events will start each time at 5:00 p.m. with a relaxed get-together. The musical performances will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The end of the events is scheduled for 9:00 p.m.
