Look forward to a varied company party with animal companions in the Schönecker Switzerland!

Your tour begins and ends right below the ruins of Schönecken Castle on the meadow of the Eifel nomads. After a brief introduction where you will meet the llamas and alpacas and learn how to lead such an animal, you will start your hike into the nature reserve.

The Schönecker Switzerland is a little-known but incredibly diverse nature reserve in the Südeifel. It is characterized by deeply incised valleys with clear streams and wide high plateaus. In late autumn, the red-golden foliage enchants you. From the end of November, snow often covers the forests and harvested fields. With the right clothing, your alpaca and llama hike is a unique experience because with the cuddly llamas and alpacas by your side, even cold winter weather is no problem!

Right at the beginning, we go down into the valley of the Altburgbach. Orchards and the dark silhouettes of juniper bushes accompany us. Then we ascend the ridge "Op Ischt" and let our gaze wander to the Hohen Venn. Shortly thereafter, we plunge into the beech forest and follow the Schalkenbach on its way down to the Nims.

After about an hour of hiking, we are there! At the rest area right by the Nims, delicious cake and savory snacks await you. Would you like to drink cocoa, soft drinks or coffee with it? Would you like to warm up with a (non-alcoholic) mulled wine or tea? You have the choice!

We will sit comfortably together for about an hour. Meanwhile, our llamas graze on the adjacent meadow. Then we head back up into the Schönecker Switzerland and to the ruins of Schönecken. After another hour of hiking, we will return to our stable. By now, it's time for the ultimate group photo of your animal company party!

To book your company party, simply choose the suitable date and request the tour. You must be at least six people. From a group size of 10 people upwards, you can request an individual offer from us.

P.S. Alternatively, you can also end your company party with a campfire directly at the meadow. Please ask us about this as well!

Included: approximately two-hour llama and alpaca hike; two people share one llama
or one-hour break by the banks of the Nims with seating in a tent
"Gourmet package" with delicious cake and savory snacks, as well as two drinks of your choice
German and English speaking hiking guide

To bring: hiking shoes with firm, non-slip soles, day backpack, water bottle, warm, waterproof clothing, headgear (no umbrellas)

Participants: minimum 10 people

Requirements: average fitness required (total distance about 7 km, pure hiking time about 2 hours, elevation difference 150 m), participation under 18 years only in the company of an adult. Dogs cannot be brought along.
