KOMPASS - Tour 2026

It’s not about Jesus on KOMPASS, the new album by Prinzen frontman Sebastian Krumbiegel, once again. Instead, it's about Elon Musk's tax return, the little prince, that 2+2=5, why one should not be afraid and rather dream of a better world, and it’s about music. More music.

Speaking of which: Sebastian Krumbiegel played nearly 70 performances in the last 12 months, and he wrote nearly 70 songs in the same time. He tested the songs thoroughly, rearranged, discarded, and created. The result: his new album KOMPASS.

As one can see, Sebastian Krumbiegel loves to write songs and perform live. And he loves to not only entertain his audience in front of, during, and after the performances but also to engage in conversations with them. Gradually, it became clear in his talks that the very audience, in these difficult times, was longing for positive songs. Viewed this way, the highly esteemed audience was the compass for the song selection of this album. KOMPASS contains 14 songs, where the glass is fundamentally half full, the grass is fundamentally green, and the light at the end of the tunnel is fundamentally not from an oncoming locomotive.

Also, Krumbiegel himself, as he says, wasn’t in the mood for sad songs. However, anyone thinking that the artist would drift into shallow waters is mistaken: Krumbiegel manages, like few others, the balancing act between entertainment and reflection, between criticism and optimism. Sebastian Krumbiegel is someone who believes. He believes in the power of art, in the possibility of change for the better, and his songs are exactly about this belief. He reminds us not to forget the dream of a different, more harmonious world. And he manages this without kitsch. For that, there is humor, a lot of humor.

Musically, KOMPASS is also an optimistic album, an optimistic album, but without pretense.
As one expects from Sebastian Krumbiegel, the new songs impress with great melodies, daring harmonies, and gigantic choirs. Sebastian Krumbiegel is someone who can sing and play, someone who learned from the greats (Bach, Beatles, Queen), and he is someone who manages to make the heavy artistically light. KOMPASS was created over the last year with the help of friendly musicians. KOMPASS is a musical silver lining on the horizon. KOMPASS will be released on March 27, 2026, on GROßE FREIHEIT.

Doors open at 5:30 PM. Starts at 7:00 PM.
Tickets are available for €36.20 at the tourist information centers in Konz and Saarburg.
