Classic Open Air 2026 - Bad Rappenau Chamber Orchestra

Every two years, audiences gather at Sunnisheim Abbey for the musical highlight of the summer, this time with the Bad Rappenau Chamber Orchestra. The following classical masterpieces will be performed in the open air: - G.F. Handel, Concerto grosso op.6.No.1 in G major; - G.Ph. Telemann, Concerto for viola and strings in G major;  - W.A. Mozart, Divertimento in F major, K. 138; - Benjamin Britten, Simple Symphony; - J.B. Cragun, Concerto for Alto Saxophone and Orchestra. The open-air concert combines elegant chamber music with summery lightness and creates an intimate atmosphere in the historic abbey garden, or in the abbey church in case of inclement weather. An evening for lovers of classical music, offering both familiar melodies and surprising solo parts. Enjoy a carefully coordinated concert evening that combines tradition and fresh interpretations, presented by the city of Sinsheim together with the Bad Rappenau Chamber Orchestra in a relaxed, festive setting.
