Nostalgia meets culinary delights

Enjoy, taste, and take a peek over the shoulders of local producers. This is the motto of the gourmet tours with the historic nostalgic bus from the 1950s, which originally operated in the Swiss Alps.

The bus rolls out from Kirchheimbolanden through the Donnersberger Land, stopping at a fruit farm, a vineyard, and a chef. Each stop offers exciting and surprising insights into the history and development of the individual businesses. You can experience firsthand how the producers work, what steps are necessary, and how the final product reaches the customer, or how the regional ingredients are refined by the chef before landing on the plate.

As a highlight of the tour, the regional delicacies can be tasted directly on site at the businesses.

Dates and registration for the “Nostalgia Meets Gourmet Tours”:

The meeting point for the approximately six-hour tour is 15 minutes before departure in Kirchheimbolanden at the parking lot at Herrengarten (District Administration). The cost is €75 per person. As the places for each date are limited, prior registration is necessary.
