Flora flutters through the Porta
Flora is already two years old - so a fully grown bat and quite a little rascal. No wonder: Her family has been living in the Porta for over 1700 years; at least that’s what great-uncle Fleberhard says, who read it in a book by Count Fledrian the Fleeting, who in turn quotes the report of the ancient writer Flausonius.
Because of this family history, Flora knows everything about the Porta since Roman times. Cheerfully, she flutters around the old city gate with her visitors and tells not only where bats live in the Porta, how the Romans defended the city from here, and what trick her family invented around 1000 years ago to prevent the Porta from being torn down, but also shows that bats are not creepy at all, but rather incredibly important for mosquitoes, and what we can all do to protect Flora and her many friends and relatives. For this, everyone descends into the lowest, dark floor of the Porta… what kind of surprise is waiting there?
A fun family tour with hand puppet Flora for children between 6 and 10 years old.
