When the scent of mulled wine, roasted almonds, and winter spices fills the air, warm lights illuminate the historic courtyard, and soft music heralds the cold season, it is finally time again: The Christmas market in the historic Echternacherhof in Kinheim opens its gates and invites you to an unforgettable advent experience on November 29 and 30, 2025.
Set against the picturesque backdrop of the lovingly restored Echternacherhof, visitors can expect an atmospheric mix of tradition, enjoyment, and festive anticipation. Over two days, the courtyard transforms into a festive winter village with numerous stalls showcasing artisans and regional exhibitors presenting their lovingly crafted unique items – from handcrafted wooden toys, rustic décor, ceramics, and textile art to Christmas decorations.
There is also an excellent selection of refreshments: In addition to classic mulled wine, mulled gin will be served – the modern, spicy variant for those seeking something special. The offering is complemented by hearty specialties and sweet delights that invite you to linger and enjoy.
A special highlight of the weekend is the live music, which provides a festive sound backdrop on both days. Regional musicians create goosebump moments and a very special atmosphere with Christmas tunes, acoustic folk, and uplifting songs – sometimes contemplative, sometimes joyful, always with a lot of heart.
Whether enjoying a warm drink under the starry sky, strolling between the stalls, or simply pausing in the festively decorated courtyard – the Christmas market in Kinheim offers the perfect setting to start the Advent season and get into the spirit of the upcoming festive days.
