Organ tour in Trier Cathedral
No, it is not the only one of its kind. But it is still something very special and has fascinated all visitors to the cathedral for exactly 50 years: the great swallow's nest organ by the firm Klais. As the queen of instruments, it is not only located in a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but is also part of the intangible world heritage of German organs.
On the occasion of its 50th birthday, Cathedral organist Josef Still will take his visitors onto the cathedral gallery and give a behind-the-scenes look as well as an insight into the masterpiece of organ building. And as fitting for a jubilee tour in a small circle, small listening samples are also part of the program – for the most exclusive organ concert in the city.
