The Philharmonic Orchestra of the City of Trier will enchant the Porta Nigra square with its sounds in 2026 and transform the Roman city gate into a colorful concert backdrop in the open air. Chief conductor Jochem Hochstenbach leads the orchestra through a versatile program of classical, musical, and film music. Additionally, the soloists from the Trier Theater delight with well-known and new pieces that will also captivate non-classical listeners. So: Pack your goodies, uncork your favorite wine, and experience an unforgettable summer evening in the shadow of the Porta Nigra with free admission!
