Our route takes us along historical smuggler paths, right past valuable ecological compensation areas. While you search for secret signs, you will take a look at how Heuchelheim today protects biodiversity.
Hiking along flowering strips: Find out why these "modern borders" are vital for insects' survival.
Boundary stones & Nature conservation: You will only use existing paths to respect the flora and fauna of the vineyards.
Organic certified enjoyment: You will taste selected drops from a local organic winery.
Regional products: To strengthen you, there will be small snacks from producers in the immediate vicinity – entirely without long transport routes and unnecessary packaging waste.
Culture & language: Immerse yourself in the Rotwelsch and the world of rogue signs.
Arrival: Clever as a smuggler. In the past, one would stealthily sneak through the night, today one travels comfortably and environmentally friendly. We promote arrival by public transport.
Close to the station: Heuchelheim is well connected to the regional bus and train network.
Smuggler bonus: Those who travel by public transport or bike will receive a small “smuggler surprise” as a thank you for climate protection! 
At the end, there is an option to stop by a wine tavern.
