Sister Anna, Bietigheim’s last Beguine, strolls through the old town in her nun’s habit. With wit and in the Swabian dialect, she transports her companions back to 16th-century Bietigheim. History and stories told from the perspective of a devout woman are the essence of this special guided tour. Never at a loss for words, she recounts in Swabian dialect the bustling activity of the merchants, observes the raftsmen, and recounts what happened on March 1, 1542.
