Guided Tour of the Chapel "To Our Beloved Lady"

On the occasion of the summer festival of the Verbandsgemeinde Annweiler am Trifels on Saturday, August 29, there will be a guided tour to the chapel "To Our Beloved Lady".

The chapel, consecrated in 1492, is the second oldest building in the town of Annweiler and is considered a special gem. After about a 15-minute walk from the meeting point, the chapel is reached, whose interior houses 21 well-preserved wall paintings of art-historical value.

As part of the tour, certified guide Iris Grötsch provides insights into the period of the chapel's creation as well as the history and significance of the murals.
