Angela Anzi: Aftertone

Angela Anzi (CH) operates in the intersection of sound, performance, video, and sculpture. With her installations and objects, in which she consciously undermines familiar perception patterns by combining classic sculptural aspects of ceramics with everyday materials, Angela Anzi is interested in sculptural bodies in their material presence, but also as sound bodies and in terms of their cultural and gender-specific connotations. In this sense, she understands her artistic practice as a fluid space for critical reflection. The specific sculptural material is interwoven with narratives from different sources, whereby traditional meanings are disrupted and transformed.
