Monthly City Tours of Grünstadt

A group of dedicated tour guides offers an open city tour once a month starting at the end of April. The offer is aimed at visitors, as well as at the citizens of Grünstadt, who are interested in the history of their city, want to discover new corners and perspectives, and are curious to hear a few anecdotes.

During the approximately 90-minute walk through the former residence city of the Leininger Counts, participants will learn, among other things, where the name Grünstadt comes from, why Grünstadt has developed into a medium-sized center, and what - still visible today - traces the Counts have left in Grünstadt. There are historical buildings, beautiful churches, as well as interesting facts about well-known artists, personalities, and patrons over time to be discovered and uncovered.

The organizers are the tour guides of Grünstadt. The tourist information center acts as a consulting office.

For adults, there is a participation fee of 10 euros for the city tour; children are free.
Please wear good footwear and weather-appropriate clothing.

The tours can also be made accessible – however, prior registration is requested, as the route will be slightly modified. Individual tours for groups are also offered by arrangement, the contact details of the tour guides can be obtained through the tourist info.
