Ancient Walls. New Sounds. The Höri Musiktage are celebrating their 10th anniversary. Celebrate with us! ‍**Over the past nine years, the Höri Music Festival (HMT) has become a beacon of classical music, recognized even among experts. A total of 125 musicians have been engaged for the HMT’s anniversary edition. As in previous years, planning, artistic direction, festival management, organization, and logistics are largely carried out on a volunteer basis and driven by the conviction that the historic center of the small border town of Öhningen deserves to be properly highlighted. The anniversary festival looks back with gratitude on the many successful concerts of recent years, held in the historic setting of the former Augustinian monastery, amidst exceptional natural surroundings. It will also outline prospects for the next decade.** Furthermore, the focus remains on the cultural revitalization of the former Augustinian monastery. Tried-and-true classical formats are planned, as are fresh, experimental visions for the musical future of the HMT and the historic center of the municipality of Öhningen. ‍ The festival orchestra will begin the coming seasons under new musical direction. After five years of successful collaboration with Harutyun Muradyan, a new conductor will take the helm of the orchestra.
