Theater Liberi, renowned for its imaginative family musicals, presents the famous tale from *One Thousand and One Nights* in a fast-paced, modern adaptation. Highly trained musical theatre performers bring to life the many facets of the beloved characters in this fairy tale about courage, self-determination and friendship. Fantastic lighting effects, exquisite costumes, and impressive music and choreography create the perfect backdrop for the mysterious world of Aladdin, Jasmine and the Genie.

Aladdin leads the life of a simple street urchin until his world is suddenly turned upside down: he has only just met Princess Yasmin, who is doing everything in her power to protect her people from the evil sorcerer Jafar, when he himself becomes entangled in his wicked schemes. For Jafar wants to finally get rid of the Sultan and seize power with the help of a legendary lamp. Of all people, Aladdin is supposed to help him, but the plan goes awry and Aladdin finds himself trapped in a cave. While searching for a way out, he discovers the secret of the magic lamp and frees the powerful genie, who quickly proves to be a true friend. Aladdin’s problems seem to be solved in one fell swoop, for where there is a genie, there are three wishes. But magic alone will not be enough to help Jasmine and thwart Jafar’s sinister plans…
