New in the program: Compact Explorer Tour

Experience our new compact tour that combines the best of the town and the castle in just one hour!

The program consists of two modules of approximately 30 minutes each:

City Tour "Short & Concise": Discover the highlights around the picturesque marketplace and the romantic "Vale".

Castle Tour "Exterior": Explore the outer areas of Braunfels Castle, visit the historical castle church, and enjoy the stunning panoramic view from the cannon square.

This special type of short tour offers you a perfect overview of the most important sights – ideal for anyone who wants to experience the essentials in compact form. Let the unique atmosphere enchant you and discover Braunfels in a whole new way!

Total duration: approx. 1 hour

9 euros per participant

The tour does not include the interior rooms of the castle such as the knights' hall, the Deikergallery, community and sacred rooms.

However, the tour is designed so that afterwards you have the opportunity to participate in the castle tour at 5 PM or visit the family museum. The two follow-up activities are not included in the "short and concise" tour fee, but must rather be paid at the castle ticket office or coin machine.
