There are times when the last joke has been told and all the cheerful melodies of this world have faded away. But fortunately, those times have not yet arrived! Because this songwriter, who has been awarded the "German Cabaret Prize," shows that you can laugh about almost anything – even about what hurts. With sharp-witted songs, biting lyrics, and disarming charm, she transforms everyday absurdities into brilliant satire. Poor old white men, who cannot cope with changes, are not spared, just like children playing scavenger hunts in the slaughterhouse. Sarah Hakenberg joyfully hits the keys, strumming her ukulele while equally narrating the abysses that slumber within us and the great chaos out there.
