What printing experiments would Max Slevogt likely conduct today? Following in his footsteps, this workshop will enable experiments while also providing insight into traditional techniques. Particularly noteworthy about Slevogt is his immediacy, his direct working on plates, the movement of his hand, the lightness and the energy that is visible in his stroke. The view from the garden into the Palatinate expanse, the hidden spots in the garden, the precise observation of light and shadow, and the prompted imagination are the source of artistic possibilities on site.
Knowledge in drawing and having a sketchbook are advantageous, while knowledge in printing is not necessarily required.
