The German-French Farmers' Market offers you a special shopping experience on Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
What unites us Palatines and our neighbors from Alsace is the love for enjoyment. We appreciate good wine, conviviality, and good food. It is not surprising that we want to combine the culinary delights of our regions in some way. Therefore, for the 12th time, we are hosting the German-French Farmers' Market in the Landau Town Hall Square.
It's all about the mix!
Regional products from the Palatinate and culinary highlights from neighboring France make the market one of the most exciting in the region. Here you will find local products, regional goods, short transport routes, and animal-friendly husbandry - this is more important today than ever before. The German-French Farmers' Market places a special emphasis on this.
The selection of spicy smoked trout, French delicacies such as cakes, pastries, jams, and goat cheese specialties, as well as regional specialties is immense. Fish specialties accompanied by delicious wines invite you to linger. A colorful range of spring decorations rounds off the diverse offerings.

Open Sunday from 1 PM to 6 PM
In addition to the offerings of the German-French Farmers' Market, you can also discover the variety of Landau's retail sector on this Sunday from 1 PM to 6 PM. Stroll through the farmers' market and combine your visit to the historic old town with a shopping tour. The Landau shops have changed their assortment to spring, and the cafés and restaurants have placed their chairs and tables in the streets of the city waiting for you with various treats.
