Enjoy a summer open-air event in a relaxed atmosphere surrounded by over 1,000 blooming lavender bushes around the award-winning wine shop on Buchholzer Burgunderweg. A dreamlike wine experience—whether in the wine shop, outside on the lawn, under the shade of the vine pergola, on cozy straw bales, or in deck chairs with a view of the vineyards—the ambiance couldn’t be more beautiful. A place to enjoy, relax, and spend a few pleasant hours with friends. Accompanied by distinctive wines, sparkling wines, and cocktails—of course, the famous lavender cocktail that gives the event its name is a must-try. It’s also available in a non-alcoholic version.
In keeping with the event, a wide range of lavender products invites you to browse. A well-known lavender farm from the Kaiserstuhl region will offer lavender bouquets, syrup, soaps, hand-sewn scented pillows, essential oils, lavender salt, and more. The wine shop also invites you to stroll and shop until 7 p.m. each day. On Friday, the Lavender Festival will be accompanied by **live music**: Bones & Rice, an acoustic duo covering songs from the genres of pop, rock, oldies, and country. On Saturday, the **band ACA-coustic** will set the mood—a three-piece band playing acoustic versions of rock and pop covers.
On both days, three food stands will present a fantastic culinary selection: Enjoy pastrami sandwiches with smoked beef or turkey pastrami. Vegetarian options are also available, featuring grilled eggplant in hand-baked sesame bread, grilled specialties, wood-fired tarte flambée, and ice cream. As a special treat this year, there will be a **Lavender Festival Platter**.
