Guided Hike in the Biosphere Reserve
An enjoyable hike along the "Hohenurachsteig" premium hiking trail with guide Heidi Boltz. The town’s landmark—the Hohenurach Castle Ruins—is the highlight of the hike. The breathtaking views from the Hanner Felsen heighten the anticipation. And the trail through the lush green mixed forests rounds out the hiking experience. Planned lunch stop at the Rohrauer Hütte. Route: Hanner Felsen–Eppenzillfelsen–Kreuzhütte–Hohenurach Castle Ruins–Youth Hostel. Distance: 14 km, elevation gain: 487 m. Please bring a packed lunch. Sturdy footwear is required. A good level of physical fitness is required.
