You are invited to the traditional early summer forest walk ( the exact route will be announced later ).
Accompanied by an experienced forester, you will learn how forestry has changed over the past 300 years and how it has continually adapted to the demands of our society regarding the forest.
Whether as a supplier of raw materials, a space for recreation, a water reservoir, a habitat for animals and plants, or as a carbon store, oxygen provider, and climate protector, the benefits for us humans are diverse and irreplaceable.
Even Goethe was aware of this and was deeply impressed during his hikes through the diverse natural landscapes, including here in the Lahntal. Goethe and the forest - what did he think about it and what can we learn from it nowadays?
At the end of the walk, there will once again be an opportunity to discuss the impressions gained over a cup of coffee and a piece of cake at Haus Fumiko.
