The closely connected history of the village of Wollseifen in the Eifel National Park inspired Anna-Maria Casparis' trilogy about the life paths of three people in the Northern Eifel. For the second time, the author living in the region is a guest at the International Square for a reading. Caspari will read from both Ginsterhöhe and the third volume Schlehengrund. The special feature: While the listeners will be taken on an emotional journey through the history of the Northern Eifel since the mid-19th century, they will have a direct view of the village of Wollseifen in the panorama hall. The village, which was devastated exactly 80 years ago, in September 1946, on the Dreiborner Hochfläche, is a setting in the novels. Schlehengrund ultimately leads readers to the district of Embken in Nideggen and into the post-war period.
