With her small agency, Suse plans the most beautiful events on her home island of Sylt. Her latest event is supposed to be something very special: a cozy beach festival with lovely stalls and live music at sunset. Luckily, her best friend Lia is by her side, spending the summer on Sylt and supporting her energetically. But it's not just the beach festival that brings some excitement; love also causes tumultuous days: Suse can't get the quiet singer Ben out of her head, and Lia runs into Suse's brother Bastian again, whom she had a crush on as a girl. And while the stars sparkle above the North Sea and the summer nights glow, the friends' lives change forever…

Germanist Stephanie Jana lives with her family in Frankfurt and Gießen. Since 2015, she has been publishing novels about friendship, love, longing, courage, strong women in search of happiness, the sea (preferably the North Sea), as well as historical themes. In addition to writing, she confidently leads her editorial office and performs as the show duo Yana & Jana in musical readings, where she also dramaturgically integrates her books. Moreover, she supports other authors and is booked as a guest lecturer in literary studies.
