For everyone who answers Françoise Sagan's question with yes, this evening will be a celebration: The Horn Trio, one of the most significant chamber music works of all time, traverses in half an hour all emotions from gentle melancholy to deep sorrow, ultimately leading to life-affirming hunting calls. Mozart's light, melody-rich String Quintet is contrasted by two works created in Paris around 1920: the Oboe Sonata of the then nearly 80-year-old Camille Saint-Saëns and four virtuosic and cheeky songs by the young Francis Poulenc.
Let yourselves be classically seduced and enjoy the live experience with our fermate musicians when it is once again: Lights up for the Pfalz!
