“As a native of the Westerwald, I love nature and truly appreciate the beauty of my homeland.” Theresia Müller-Kunz doesn’t just say this – she paints it too. A warm welcome to her exhibition opening at Stöffel-Park on Sunday, 12 July 2026 at 4 pm in Café Kohleschuppen!
Hilde Fuhs will provide musical accompaniment on the harp during the opening.
The exhibition runs until 23 August 2026.
The artist is not concerned with depicting the Westerwald’s landmarks. “Rather, it is my favourite spots in the forest or the small, seemingly unremarkable things that impress me – this could be the texture of tree bark or even a moss-covered fence post.”
She explains: “To capture the light and the special atmosphere of nature, my works (oil on canvas) are often created outdoors. Only here can I perceive nature with all my senses.”
