#### The Sons of Gumbo - Traditional New Orleans Jazz
#### Friday, July 3, 2026, 8:00 p.m. at Dorfmitte Holzen
Gumbo, the famous Louisiana stew: All our
New Orleans jazz heroes enjoyed eating a bowl of
gumbo from time to time. You can hear gumbo in the sound of Joe King Oliver, Louis Armstrong,
Jelly Roll Morton, and Sidney Bechet. We hope you can discover the
gumbo in our sound as well when we play our interpretation
of New Orleans classics.
We are The Sons of Gumbo:
George Ricci – saxophones, clarinets
Thomas Kaltenbach – trombone
Zarek Silberschmidt – banjo
Dani Breitenstein – piano
Dominik Schürmann – double bass
Samuel Duehsler – drums
The concert will take place in the Dorfmitte Garden; in case of inclement weather, it will be held in the KultuRaum.
