You’ll work up a sweat, and Alois can’t stand that even at work.” The daughter wants to go to the beach – “but it’s far away, and the umbrella and lounge chair cost extra; plus, you’ll get sunburned.” His wife wants to go to a spa and “with her weight!” There are other issues to sort out as well: “Who’s going to look after Grandma? Who’s taking the dog? Do the neighbors have to water the flowers again? And what should we bring them as a thank-you gift?” Marcus Neuweiler, alias Alois Gscheidle, has been performing as a Swabian cabaret artist on stage and in front of TV cameras for nearly 30 years. His spontaneity and situational comedy in dialogue with the audience are unique and make him so popular.
