Guided Bike Tour I Neckar Valley–Schwabenblick

Join a guided bike tour starting in Bad Rappenau, following the Neckar River through the Neckar Valley. The tour takes you from Bad Rappenau on bike paths to the outskirts of Heilbronn, a good stretch along the Neckar to Bad Wimpfen, and back to Bad Rappenau. Along the route, you’ll pass the Heilbronn combined heat and power plant with its imposing cooling tower and tall smokestacks, as well as the impressive former Staufer palace in Bad Wimpfen. Participants will get a sense of the hilly landscape of the Kraichgau region and the idyllic Neckar Valley. Between the Neckarsulm weir and the Kochendorf lock, the tour runs between the “Old Neckar” and the Neckar Canal through floodplains characterized by meadows and trees. During the tour and while stopping for refreshments at a traditional restaurant or café, there will be plenty of time to chat with fellow cyclists. The tour is suitable for all types of bicycles.
