A 16 km long hiking experience along the Großer and Kleiner Nister: The Wäller Tour "Bachgeflüster" connects the gentle murmur of the rivers with exciting stories of regional attractions. Testimonies like mines, mills, and the Marienstatt monastery tell of the close relationship of people to the rivers. Viewing points and rest areas provide varied impressions along the way.

From 10:30 AM guided hikes - three different tours to choose from:Tour 1 – "Bachgeflüster All in" – 16 km
The large round leads from Marienstatt over the slate mine Assberg, the Hohe Ley, Limbach, the Ehrenhain near Atzelgift as well as the Edelstein pit and the Tree of the Year trail back to Marienstatt.
Dogs are allowed on this tour on a leash. The path is not suitable for strollers.
Duration: approx. 5 hours (including 30 minutes break)
Tour 2 – "Bachgeflüster light" – 10 kmThe medium route leads from Marienstatt over the Tree of the Year Park at Streithausen, Limbach, the Hohe Ley, and the slate mine back to the starting point. Dogs are allowed on this tour on a leash. The path is not suitable for strollers.
Duration: approx. 3.5 hours (including 30 minutes break)
Tour 3 – "Bachgeflüster Kids" 4.5 kmThe family-friendly option leads from Marienstatt to the slate mine and back.
