In the first event, botanist Elke Hochgesand (LUGENA Nature and Education) presents selected early bloomers, their cultural-historical and biological significance, as well as the theme "Spring in the Forest." Knowledge about spring herbs, which can strengthen our immune system after a long winter and chase away the so-called "spring fatigue," is communicated particularly intensively.
In the second part of the event, visitors are treated to a small tasting of these herbs in the coffee hall, in line with the motto "Experience with all senses." Here, participants can deepen and enjoy their acquired knowledge with a small wild herb snack.
The event series is funded by the Ministry of Agriculture through the BNE network (Education for Sustainable Development) in Central Hesse. The projects in 2026 are under the motto "Homeland and Identity."
