The hike begins at the Hauserbauer starting point and leads through a spruce forest to the Steiner Hochalm. Some wetlands and low moors characterize the further path to the Paar lakes. The ascent is rewarded with a beautiful panorama - the Hochkönig massif to the north, the Gastein valley to the south, and of course the view of the Großer Paarsee.
On the way back, you will be treated at the Steiner Hochalm by the Meikl family with homemade Blattlkrapfen and other delicacies. End of the hike: approx. 3:00 PM.
Participation in the guided hikes is free with the Gastein Card! Bus and taxi transfer costs (€ 6 per person) and consumption are to be paid separately. Good equipment and mountain/hiking shoes are absolutely necessary! Registration: by Tuesday at 4:00 PM: Tourism Association Dorfgastein: +43 6432 3393 460.
