Starting from the Green Tree, in the beautiful Kötschachtal, we follow a somewhat steeper path uphill towards Gamskarkogel. After about an hour, we reach one of the most worthwhile viewpoints of the Gastein Valley. The Poserhöhe inn offers delicious treats. In good weather, the view extends into the Central Alps, to the Kleinelend Pass, to the Höhkaralm, and across to the Radhausberg all the way to Sportgastein/Nassfeld.
