After the taxi ride to Huberalm, the hike begins towards the Drei Waller Chapel, an ancient pilgrimage site. It is located on a pass at 1,425 meters and offers a unique view of the Gastein Valley. The further ascent to Rauchkögerl (1,810 meters) is very rewarding - the view into the expansive Salzach Valley is impressive. The summit cross invites you to linger with its magnificent view. The descent takes place via a path to Kögerlalm, where a stop is also planned. From Huberalm, you will return by taxi to Dorfgastein. The hike ends around 3:00 PM.
Participation in the guided hikes is free with the Gastein Card! Bus and taxi transfer costs (€6 per person) and refreshments are to be paid separately. Good equipment and mountain/hiking shoes are absolutely necessary! Registration: by Tuesday at 4:00 PM at the Dorfgastein Tourism Association: +43 6432 3393 460.
