Actress **Claudia Godart** combines her stage program “Via Sarandi No. 2 – Maria and the Art of Curry” with the devotion and passion of Argentine tango. And she does so with two magnificent musicians, **Jeanette Roth-Fritz** and **Bettina Kunz**, who merge with their instruments and the music just as seamlessly as the enchanting tango dance couple **Dagmar and Wolfgang Steinhauser**. During her years in exile in Montevideo, former bar singer Bonnie Delayne encounters the fascination of tango—its music, full of longing and fire, and the dancers’ devotion to their partners. The simultaneous glimpse into the pots and pans as Maria cooks for friends and guests lends this music a very special flavor. Inevitably, Bonnie’s stories take on a new hue, telling of food and love, men and women, steam baths and dates in saddlebags. And in which situation a knife blade must be particularly sharp….
