The tour includes a hearty hop garden snack with exquisite tastings of local beers. **New guided tour along the Hop Trail with culinary delights** Tettnang is officially a hop town. For nearly 200 years, growers have been cultivating the “green gold.” On the hike from Bärenplatz to Hopfengut No. 20, Tettnang’s hop experts take residents and visitors on a journey into the world of hops. They discuss the enjoyment of beer in inns, breweries, a hop castle, tall poles, right-twining plants, and the globally prized Tettnang aroma hops. To refuel, the local women serve a hearty hop garden snack. Exquisite tastings of local beers—a lager, an aromatic beer, and a light non-alcoholic option—are available with a view of the Alps and Lake Constance. The guided tour “Of Brewers and Farmers—Tettnang’s Path to Becoming a Hop Town” takes place once a month from May through October. The tour starts in the morning at the Kronenbrunnen fountain on Bärenplatz. The snack break is at the lookout point. The tour ends at noon at Hopfengut No. 20. For groups, the tour can be booked for a desired date at the Tourist Information office.
