Stockport Grammar School Singers & Musicians

The young musicians from this renowned English school south of Manchester are among the most talented emerging artists in the UK. More than a third of the students learn a musical instrument, and numerous choirs, orchestras, and ensembles maintain an extensive weekly rehearsal schedule. Under the direction of Michael Dow, Director of Music, visitors will experience a varied program of choral, orchestral, and chamber music works. In the past, the musicians have successfully performed on international tours in cities including Paris, London, Barcelona, Salzburg, Venice, and Cologne, and have won numerous awards. The concert offers music lovers of all ages the opportunity to experience the high musical quality of Stockport Grammar School live. From classical orchestral pieces to rousing choral music, there is something for every taste.
